I shouldn't even insult you by giving this away, but this is obviously an homage to Sailor Moon.
For someone who was initially aprehensive about becoming a Valkyrie, Yuuki seemed to really enjoy that transformation. Loki, on the other hand, just doesn't understand magical girls.

By the way, has anyone ever noticed that the music that DiC used during Sailor Moon's transformation sounded a heck of a lot like the second half to the Eric Clapton song "Layla"?
