 This is my first shot at drawing the Castle, the headquarters for Majestic Knight. Knight is an interesting combination of Batman and Hawkman. As readers of his comic know, Knight's interest in the medieval is not purely antiquarian. Like Hawkman, he can remember his previous lives...including a very famous one. Many of the items stored in the Castle are weapons famed in story and song from epics and sagas. Yet his real fighting weaponry, although in medieval form, is cutting edge, state-of-the-art. Anyway, I had fun with the medieval trappings and tapestries. It may be a converted fallout shelter, but I wanted to give it a truly medieval flavor. --Al |
